Vivienne Rose is the most structurally unconventional piece in Mushq Nuvera: The Queen of Hearts — and the only suit in the entire collection where the trouser is itself embroidered sequinned raw silk rather than plain dyed raw silk, making it the one three-piece in the range where the embroidery investment extends from the shirt all the way to the trouser in a continuous embellished design language. The shirt takes the opposite approach to every other piece in the collection: a dyed raw silk front and back with embroidered sequinned sleeves only, concentrating the shirt’s surface embellishment on the arms rather than the front body, and allowing the dyed front to serve as the visual counterpoint to the heavily worked trouser below. The embroidered raw silk trouser carries its own sleeves and trouser border in silk, plus a separate side slit and trouser lace — a fully specified embroidered trouser construction that no other piece in the Nuvera festive collection attempts. A crochet lace at the neckline, hand embellished tassels, an embroidered sequinned chiffon dupatta with four-side silk border, and the embroidered raw silk trouser complete this utterly singular unstitched silk dress for the festive and semi-formal attire market in Pakistan.
